RADIOPHONE Cellular Telephone Programming Information The authoritative Internet source.

RadioPhone Presents:

Authentication - The cellular carrier's latest weapon in fighting cellular phraud

Wierd tidbit: A correspondent reports: "Some people are paying Digital Rates & using Analog phones, they program their phone with a Digital ESN & give that to the Cell Carrier then just us the Analog side of the system w/ any AMPS phone, don't ask me-I aint tried it so I don't know about that one." Motorola phones use different ESN prefixes for digital phones, so one could simply use RadioPhone's ESN Prefix Table to make up a D-AMPS (TDMA) ESN.

Monitoring Cellular System Data streams. - i.e., with "DDI" boxes.

GSM - International digital cellular

Read the Wireless Week article of August 12, 1996 about RadioPhone, and my responses.

World Cellular Guide New! Still somewhat primitive.

CDPD means data transmission over AMPS cellular.

Easy ESN will read your ESN back to you.
